My husband Bob and I had thoroughly discussed what we liked and disliked in housing and neighborhoods and most importantly in real estate agents. We had spent many hours on the internet looking at photos and descriptions of what was available when we decided to look for a house. Although we were cramped in our apartment, we knew we should take the time we needed to find something we could be happy with for the rest of our lives. It was a second marriage, so we had seven adult kids between us with spouses and grandkids. We also both have knee and hip problems, so lots of steps wasn't probably our best bet. We both liked clean, light, open spaces. Between us we had lots of furniture and belongings. Some we were willing to part with, some not.
 
We emailed and talked with Donna Simon with DEEB Realty over the phone and gave her some houses we thought we would like to see. Donna listened to our wants, dreams and more importantly concerns and helped us to find appropriate homes to look at with all the available information. Our Real Estate Agent, Val Bokowski from Deeb Realty sold our house in 5 days. She came to our home and was very honest with us about price and the way to show the house. The buyer of our home was very difficult but Val ironed out all the details. We feel she was always on our side and fought for everything we wanted. We gave her name to our neighbors and she sold their house too. We would and have recommend Deeb Realty and Val to several people. There would be no question that we would use her again.

I was VERY impressed by the care Val at Deeb Realty gave us when selling my father's home. She was always available to answer questions and proactively helped us understand ways to make the house attract a buyer, the radon mitigation process and what expenses were to be expected. Two of our friends used Vallerie Bokowski's service when selling their homes, that was how we got to know Val. We truly feel she is the best agent we could find for our Omaha house. Her advice was always down-to-earth and honest. Meanwhile she completely respected our decisions. She took great care of our house during the four months after our move and before the sale of the house. The winter of 2009 witnessed tremendous snow storms in Omaha. Val had gone great length to clean the snow covered driveway many times. She even helped clean our next door neighbor's driveway when finding out the husband was in a wheelchair! After our house was closed, we were so grateful of everything she had done for us, that we didn't want her to refund us half of the house inspection fees; Val still sent us a check which was more than half of the fees we had paid. As a first time home buyer, there were a lot of details that went into purchasing a house. My Deeb Real Estate Agent Annali Babko was there for every step, and never hesitated to explain certain policies/procedure or answer personal questions. As we were facing the upcoming deadline for the tax credit, Annali devoted extra time to taking me to view all the houses I wanted to see, not once but two or three times, in some cases. Annali was extremely understanding in the specific features I was looking for, and never made me feel like the things on my "want" list were impossible.
